update to deluge 1.3

I am on deluged 1.2.3 however I am having some problems as everytime I reboot my computer the torrents get deleted and deluged tries to either redownload or goes into check status.

So I wanted to updated to 1.3 to see if this release was better (as I see it is). So how do I upgrade to the newest release. I followed this ppa https://launchpad.net/~deluge-team/+archive/ppa however for some reason it did not update the PPA to the newest version 1.3


do I have to delete the current install of deluged that I have installed? If so how do I do that? thru the synaptic manager do I just search for deluge and delete everything that has that name in it or is there a command line to delete it cleanly? Or can I update it using another command?

ok this is getting very frustrating. When I add a torrent in 1.2.3 and it starts to download or has downloaded the whole file and reboot the pc I lose the connection to the torrent somehow.

why does it lose the place of the torrent. Do I have one of the settings wrong?
