Fantastic news, thank-you. Looking forward to a Windows port and trying it out on private trackers.

I don't know which ones you are talking about, but the ones who have generated this are still on track to ban Deluge by Monday.

I'm talking about other trackers (never used the ones banning it) who currently ban it due to the overdownload issue.

So since the new version is going to fix this problem according to Andar. Is there any chance that this new version will be whitelisted?

Hopefully soon. :) That's all up to the sites you use. I know mine just announced it as whitelisted.

Thank you so much, Deluge team!

You can use the PPA, it has been refreshed already. :)

I reported this back here last December (so I would not call it lightning fast) and had banned it on our site with no resolution:

http://forum.deluge-torrent.org/viewtop ... =7&t=27055

It is a shame it took for wcd and waffles to also ban for it to be fixed after I informed them of the ratio bug - since I got no resolution by comming to the forums here.

I am happy it does not have UTP in it though or it would be banned again. Many trackers are banning uTorrent with UTP in it because of how it favours itself and therefore does not play fair with non UTP clients.

One thing many sites are discussing is a flag to turn the UTP part off - kind of like the flag to turn off DHT. Having such a flag and clients that respect that flag will make it more acceptable for every site and the way they wish to run their site.
