Harddisk full: deluge doens't show torrents in downloading

Post by Garret »

I inadvertently filled all my hard-disk and i saw that deluge paused all torrents i was downloading. Then wheh i restarted the pc i start deluge and the list is empty but obviously the downloaded files(but incomplete) are in my folder.

How i can bring the situation as it was before? So continue downloading interrupted torrents download

On deluge irc channel someone said me about "force recheck" but how i can do it?

I went in the preferences menu and i saw that all settings are the same of a default installation, so all my settings are also lost... :o
But in the ./config/deluge/ the files seems set right(with my preferences) :(

I am on ubuntu 7.10 with deluge 0.5.8.4

Is there a way to recover also my settings?

This might be a bit obvious, but did you clear some disk space for the torrents that you were downloading? Before starting deluge again make sure to clear enough space for the torrents you were downloading. Once you've done that try starting deluge and see if they show up. You might have to recheck them so that deluge realizes there is enough space for them now.

I obviusoly clear a lot of space(about 40GB). But i think that deluge is kinda broken because all the settings are like the first installation(so default settings), and not my settings. Then the torrent list is completely empty :(

I'm not sure about recovering your settings. If you want to continue the torrents just download the .torrent files again and make sure you tell deluge to save them to the same location/filename where you have the partially downloaded torrents. It should recheck the file and continue from where it left off. I believe the process is the same as if you had started the torrent in another client and were moving it to deluge.
