Okay, so im downloading a torrent containing several episodes,
I tried to preview one such episode to check the quality, and ended up screwing up the AVI index, and can't repair. so i thought it might be simpler to just re-download the individual file.
I went into the folder and deleted the file, usually, in a previous version of deluge, i would get an error message on the terror and force a re-check. I got no such error message with the latest version.
So i forced a re-check. Lo and behond, it says the file is at 96%, and when i refresh nautilus, that file re-appears. I tried move to trash and Shift + Del. neither works.
How can i force deluge to redownload this file?
Trying to make Deluge re-download individual files
Re: Trying to make Deluge re-download individual files
Stop the torrent, delete the file, force recheck, then restart.
Re: Trying to make Deluge re-download individual files
Did exactly that. Same result, the file was recreated at the end of re-check.
I am running the latest version of deluge, 1.1.9, using ubuntu 9.04, ext4 filesystem, but i have yet to decide what caliber bullet i wish to put in my head...

Re: Trying to make Deluge re-download individual files
No reply thus far. Im assuming this must be a bug, because the exact same procedure worked before.
The only thing is i updated deluge and my kernel at the same time, deluge from 1.1.6 to 1.1.9, and the kernel from ####.11 to ####.15.
If theres any other data to provide i'll be happy to oblige, i hate to see programs go backwards instead of forward.

Re: Trying to make Deluge re-download individual files
Tried downloading it with a different client? I just spent ages trying to fix an issue with a whole bunch of corrupt mp3s in a 6gb torrent but when I downloaded with Azureus (Vuze) I got exactly the same corrupt files so the original torrent must have been corrupt.
