0.9.0.5 and Permissions

Post by adament »

I have recently tried upgrading to 0.9.0.5 and I must say it's a nice piece of software, however something has been bothering me. Most files I download are created with permissions: 755(rwxr-xr-x), since I didn't remember experiencing this with the stable version I conjectured that it might be related to something in the new version. I use full allocation on an xfs volume. Is this something in deluge/libtorrent or is it just because strange permissions are given in the torrent? Or have I somehow messed up a setting somewhere in my system?

Please try RC6 and see if the problem is still there.. There were some file permission fixes I think.

Sorry for the late reply I have been away from my computer for the last week, it doesn't seem to happen with 0.9.0.6.

Thanks for your great work.

I'm experiencing a similar problem in version Deluge 1.1.6

Is there anything that I can do? The files are being saved to smbfs if it makes a difference.
