Deluge redownloading all torrents when network share goes down

Post by dogbait »

Coming from uTorrent 1.8 Deluge has been a breath of fresh air.

I have all my Torrents on a network share which is mounted on my Deluge box. Anytime the share goes down though (software updates) etc. Deluge seems to see all the Torrents as missing and start Downloading them all again until the network share comes back online.

Anything I can do to prevent this behaviour or at least have Deluge just sit and wait if it can't find the Torrents complete/incomplete folders?

Thanks, I see the commit in the ticket. Is this a config option which needs to be enabled or is it active by default?

That explains it! Looks like 1.3.13 is pretty close to release though with two tickets left. Thanks for all the hard work.

For now I've setup deluge to run as its own user. Mount point owned by root so requires root privileges to create subfolders. Should resolve the issue for the time being and prevent Deluge from downloading anything to the complete and incomplete Torrent locations.
