Extractor plugin not working?

Hi i have installed and been using deluge on my raspberri pi 3 device and have also installed and applied the extractor plugin via the web ui of deluge and selected the destination folder to where the file should be extracted after a download is complete.
Upon a download being complete, it does not seem to extract the compressed files?
How can i test or see any logs to what this extractor plugin tool is doing?
