I don't want the whole 3.5 torrent. I would only like to download certain files among the whole list. Is this already possible? If not The feature would be used by many.

yes it's possible. download 0.5.6rc1 (packages at http://download.deluge-torrent.org) and in preferences select "enable selecting files for torrents before loading". when upgrading, you might have to `rm -rf ~/.config/deluge` in order to start deluge again. also, you might want to enable the "torrent files" plugin
