[Plugin] YaRSS2 - RSS plugin with GTKUI support
Re: [Plugin] YaRSS2 - RSS plugin with GTKUI support
So the answer is no?
Re: [Plugin] YaRSS2 - RSS plugin with GTKUI support
I'm having an issue with the YARSS2 plugin on a new Ubuntu PC. I'm currently using it on Windows without any issue. However, I've setup my Ubuntu machine so that I remote access the PC from my windows using XFCE. Now, I can use Deluge without any problems via magnet links and can download without issue, but when using YARSS2, I get encoding notices and "Failed" torrents on every RSS I have loaded. I was planning on posting my Message Log from YARSS2 in this post, but in efforts to fix the issue, I've had to reinstall the plugin a few times and the Message Log has cleared. Are there any known issues with YARSS2 on Ubuntu clients?
Re: [Plugin] YaRSS2 - RSS plugin with GTKUI support
It appears to be working fine in Mint 17.2. I am running the daemon on a windows 7 desktop and the client on a mint 17.2 laptop and it works fine that way. I did try starting the daemon locally on mint and checking that. It connects fine, but I don't have any subscriptions set up.
Re: [Plugin] YaRSS2 - RSS plugin with GTKUI support
Here's an segment of my message log this morning after letting the machine run overnight.
Any ideas?
Edit: Nevermind, it's apparently the RSS Feed causing the issue. I tried a feed from another site and it downloaded without issue.

Re: YaRSS2 crashes deluge
It still crashed now for me,
This happen when the connection to rssfeed is not working correctly (terminated by remote host)
most of the time it's just stopped working and no error, no log. and when I tried to close Deluge it would not close until I use "end task" on process manager.
however sometimes it's just crashed deluge with above message.

Re: [Plugin] YaRSS2 - RSS plugin with GTKUI support
Taffu, can you try the version (1.3.5) I posted in this thread? It should handle RSS feeds from kat.cr.
When reporting issues, please include any relevant information such as OS (and version), python version (for Windows users this depends on which Deluge installer was used), Deluge version and plugin version.
Re: [Plugin] YaRSS2 - RSS plugin with GTKUI support
1.3.5 does work with KAT. Thanks dev, I thought I was going to be stuck using Vuze's ScaneRSS.
If KAT were to place magnet links in enclosure/@url would YaRSS2 be able to parse them? or would that require an update? Just curious.

Re: [Plugin] YaRSS2 - RSS plugin with GTKUI support
Redwrist, it should work, but not sure if I've tested that.

Re: [Plugin] YaRSS2 - RSS plugin with GTKUI support
If this new version fixes it, I assume there will be a new official version for all platforms?
