Auto pickup torrents from folder
Re: Auto pickup torrents from folder
This still doesn't work. It exhibits exactly the same behaviour. The program just shuts down as soon as it goes to look for the torrent file.
I setup my home directory as the torrent location and then set .config/deluge/torrentfiles as the destination.
Sorry dude, but this has never ever worked from day one.

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'libtorrent::invalid_encoding'
what(): invalid bencoding
Aborted (core dumped)

Re: Auto pickup torrents from folder
use svn. it has this feature built-in...however, this probably means that particular torrent is corrupted. try others to be sure.
Re: Auto pickup torrents from folder
thanks markybob, i'll discontinue this plugin once svn is released officially. were you able to use my code at all?
Re: Auto pickup torrents from folder
The torrent was ok since it imported manually.markybob wrote:use svn. it has this feature built-in...however, this probably means that particular torrent is corrupted. try others to be sure.
Anyway, I tried the svn and that works like a dream. Detected the torrent immediately and no errors on import. Not trying to be fussy but it would be nice to specify a time delay in minutes but this is great as it is.
The only problem with the svn version is that it doesn't shut down tidily.
Deluge is shaping up to be my perfect torrent client though. Simple and feature full and not using buggy Java
