changesets in versions

Post by shirish »

Hi all,
The only way to know which changeset it is by doing

Code: Select all

svn info deluge
Path: deluge
URL: http://deluge-torrent.org/svn/trunk
Repository Root: http://deluge-torrent.org/svn
Repository UUID: b3ab561c-7021-0410-825b-ae720ed029d9
Revision: 539
Node Kind: directory
Schedule: normal
Last Changed Author: andar
Last Changed Rev: 539
Last Changed Date: 2007-06-11 12:05:17 +0530 (Mon, 11 Jun 2007)
Couldn't there be a way this also gets associated when we do deluge --version which just shows 0.5.1 which would be
way better . Dunno if this is something which needs to be done in the software or in subversion or in trac? If this is out of your hands, please lemme know so I can connect with the trac guys as well as subversion to have this feature ;)

it's difficult to get this in the deluge --version field, as we'd have to change that value every time we commit a change
