https://launchpad.net/~deluge-team/+arc ... u/develop/

2.0.0.dev7125 is the most current on the PPA, and is dated 17 December 2017.

I've been using Deluge for many years, and it's my experience there have often been long quiet periods between releases.

2.0.0.dev7126 appeared yesterday, I can't really say what has changed.
Does anybody has something they would like to share?

When I perform an update/upgrade of my Ubuntu 16.04 I now get a libtorrent 1.1.7.0, should I be worried?

Deluge v2.0 beta's is built from deluge's git develop branch, so all changes can be seen here constantly:

https://git.deluge-torrent.org/deluge/log/?h=develop

Last change is little under 3 month old.

Libtorrent v1.1.7 is latest stable version as of now.

Also, on the deluge v2.0 beta PPA repo it states:
This repository contains packages for the daily builds of Deluge git develop branch and libtorrent RC_1_1 branch.

* Please note that these are not production ready releases and there is a real potential for unintended loss of data. Keeping backups is recommended.

I'm really looking forward to seeing a new Deluge 2.0 stable
We are almost 1 year since the last stable version 1.3.15 - May 12, 2017

I imagine aquipe is busy, but I hope to soon see an update, Cas does an excellent job.

Cas could we say if there is any expectation of updating

daemon.info seems to be missing from deluge 2.0 as it returns an error JSON: "message": "Unknown method". Is this something that has been forgotten or just not yet implemented? Thanks

Anyone know how to install this on debian? I have downloaded it to the box (with wget) but no idea how to install or what to do next.

Thanks

After watching and reading on this site the last few months I never seem to see many users on. But thanks for the helpful reply.
