Improving the logo

Hello!

Is it just me or is the logo a bit off? The concept is all good, but the execution is lacking:

- The top triangle is skewed to the left as opposed to being centered
- The bottom half circle is uneven
- Does it really need all those gradients and "waves inside waves inside waves"?
Perfection is achieved, not when there's nothing left to add, but when there's nothing left to take away. --KISS principle
I'd highly recommend the "Logos" series over at Gestalten (or Amazon) for a compilation of world-class logos unlike anything currently available on the Internet:

So logo design really requires an artist, which I am not but I did do some tweaking of the original logo a while back so welcome to hear thoughts:

Much closer - great work! First I'd remove the gradients and the drop shadow. Then I'd make the outer circle blue like it is but the inner fill and the wave in two different colors. And I'd do it all in Adobe Animate so it's easier to be precise.

Your concept is rock solid and I think this logo has the potential of becoming one of the alltime greats.

I can try to have a go at it once I'm done with some other stuff.

Cheers!

Interesting ideas, I've put the inkscape svg files here: https://github.com/cas--/deluge-logo/

That's a fresh new look right there. Maybe save for 2.0?

Was my intention :)

I've spent a bit of time modifying the deluge icon and updating the rest of the icons:

I think I'll leave it there for now, don't want to spend to much more time on it. I'll look to merge it soon into develop branch.

I like that design a lot. It looks pretty google material-esque.

I like it! Great update of what was already a pretty decent logo IMO :)

My only comment would be that the "point" of the inner drop on the right hand side doesn't look quite right - hard to explain, but I guess the gradient of the inner curve isn't quite matching the outer one?
