In keeping with a "release early, release often" philosophy, here's 0.5.4RC1 Changes are as follows:
* Option to use a random port every time
* Proxy system redone - you can now specify different information for each type of proxy (DHT, peer, tracker, web-seed)
* Torrent Pieces plugin to view piece updates
* Event Logging plugin to view/log every activity
* Speed Limiter plugin, which allows you to set speed limits on a per-torrent basis
* New release alerts - Client will inform user if their version of deluge is outdated
* About a million bug fixes

Hope svn1226 == RC1, if so then :
- event plugin works great. Doesn't put extra stress on cpu and it's nice
- after playing a while with it my gui stopped updating and I couldn't get it back to work, only restart deluge.
- when I turn on peer messages, sometimes connection refused comes up and I'm wondering if it's because of blocklist ? Cause I didn't get anything more similar.
