"Connect to daemon when available" feature

I have a deluge server running, which is my laptop. I also use my laptop on multiple wireless networks away from home, so the ip address constantly changes. When I get on my desktop deluge will not be connected to any server even after my laptop is back at home. It does not automatically connect to the server I have specified for it to always connect to unless the server is available at startup. It would be nice for it to try to connect after every x seconds
