Force re-check after crash/unclean close.

Post by Tares »

hello,

dunno why (couldn't traceback it) my deluge crashed two times when a torrent was finishing downloading. I've tried to traceback it, but when I started it through terminal it worked fine for some reason o_O it was yesterday svn release. Updated today and so far seems ok.

Anyway, with that little crash I was quite disturbed cause when I've started deluge my whole dl was gone. I had to dl everything from the start. So to prevent that kind of things to happen, you could implement re-check after crash or unclean close, something similar to uTorrent. Also force re-check in menu would be nice ;-)

Tares,
As far as torrent checking on unclean hose, its supposed to happen & used to happen good before, dunno what has happened in the interim, I crashed/killed deluge by doing the following stuff :-

On terminal type deluge, let it do its work, at some point close the terminal where you had deluge, deluge is automatically killed. now enable it again, it starts, does no re-checking. Using svn 1213

About the other, if somebody gives a patch, markybob will consider it, please look at http://forum.deluge-torrent.org/viewtop ... 1199#p1199

Let the guys look at stuff, I'm sure it will get into deluge one way or the other, just need somebody who writes a good patch for it.
