1 Year annivesary

Post by jeps »

Hi all.

It is kind of a sad day today.
1 year has past since the last "official" dev. release, build "2.1.1~dev7516".
I really hope that the next year will bring a little bit more.

The Patreon goal, where he is supposed to spend one day a month working with Deluge is reached, so hoping to see some movement!
There is no update on the membership page yet, but I hope he have noticed it :)

The more that chip in, the more encouragement developers normally get!

Just for full reference, and for people not following git-develop commit-log, there's been commits submitted by Cas roughly every month since January, mostly little under every month, and a few times little after i.e. one day once, plus now where it's around 18 days "late"(also, "working" doesn't nessesarilly mean "commiting" ;) i.e. a workday still could end op without a finished commit yet as e.g. need more testing etc, or e.g. if having bug-chased an issue all day without success etc, hence the quotation of wording "late").

Still hoping of-course extra devs joining to help Cas(and myself not being even remotely close to good enough to even consider voluntering, not to mention not even a dev myself), or project forked off to more active team of people, but as said by IBTB helping with donations atleast is a good start, though which I haven't personally so little hypocritical saying that of me, but regardless.

Reposting IBTB's posted link again here, to not end with just my blabbings :)
