Deluge 2.1.1 Notifications, how to?

Post by mborghi »

Hi all
Today I upgraded from Deluge 1.x to 2.1.1, so far so good, don't like new UI but it works.
My problem is that I don't know how to set it up to blink the tray icon when downloads finish. I enabled the Notifications plugin and in its settings, checked Settings/UI Notifications/Tray icon blink enabled, but nothing happens when torrents completes. Then I also checked Popup and Blink under Subscriptions for TorrentFinishedEvent, but nothing happens either.
Any ideas what I am missing? Thanks!

Unfortunetly in gtk3 the (deprecated) 'statusbar' object has gotten it's 'set_blinking()' function removed, hence not blinking, and not logging error as in a 'try' block in deluge. This is an oversight that still available in settings then. Thanks for highlighting :)

Thanks for your answer. I went back to previous version for now...
