Issue with NordVPN - Downloads won't start

I've followed all the steps here to use NordVPN with Deluge

Frequently when I try to use it, however, I get the message "Port Issue" in the bottom right hand corner of the window, and my downloads don't start at all, even when the torrent in question is well seeded.

Sometimes restarting the app fixes it, but it's not long before the issue pops up again.

I've tried reinstalling Deluge and installing the 64 bit version, but it hasn't helped.

It was working fine up until a couple of weeks ago.

Any ideas?
