Hi,

it used to be possible to change owner on the torrent context menu, but that seems to be no longer possible. Can anyone explain how/why it was removed and it it is possible to do some other way?

Suppose you could run deluged services from root or another user under deluge group (never tried it), not sure why it was removed though. I do briefly remember that being an option so cannot help you there. Guess just depends on the use case, in my case it is movies / tv shows where things like sonarr / radarr just chown it to whatever. So you could python script it or look into https://dev.deluge-torrent.org/wiki/Plugins/Execute .

Thanks for pointing out the scripting feature. I was really wondering why it isn't available anymore on the context menu in the gui, however.
