Deluge remote with reverse proxy on Synology DSM

Post by baresi »

I'm trying to get Deluge remote working with reverse proxy on Synology DSM with Transdrone. I'm not very proficient in linux, but I'm learning. I can and have used putty to login to DSM and browse the filesystem. I know the basic commands.
I should mention I have been running Deluge remotely with Transdrone through Deluge self cert https for a while and it works. I just thought I should use reverse proxy on Deluge if I can set it up, since it is supposed to be more secure, has a signed certificate and better to have DSM handle the authentication.

Synology has nginx built in DSM. Here is how it looks:
syn1 - Copy.PNG
syn1 - Copy.PNG (24.31 KiB) Viewed 2540 times
syn2 - Copy.PNG
syn2 - Copy.PNG (13.65 KiB) Viewed 2540 times
syn3 - Copy.PNG
syn3 - Copy.PNG (19.4 KiB) Viewed 2540 times
I use this with Emby and it works great. However it does not with Deluge remote/daemon port. Transdrone wont connect.
If I change to the webui port 8112, I can access the webui remotely on a browser.

Any ideas what I'm missing?
I looked through the Deluge guide on reverse proxy, but I can access the webui already, just not the daemon.
