well simply enough i opened deluge some minutes ago and the program was completely empty meaning that every torrent was deleted, luckily files are still there but this is really inconvenient
for the record i am using fedora 31 with deluge 2.03
deluge deleted all my torrents
Re: deluge deleted all my torrents
A first glance it sounds like your deluge instance can't find its config dir. The default, as you probably know, is ~./config/deluge
Does that exist, and does the state/ subdirectory contain your active torrent files?
Edit: a bit late to mention this now, but I for one make a daily backup of my deluge config dirs. It's only 40MB in size, and I keep around ten day's worth in remote storage, precisely because it would be an enormous amount of work to reload all my active .torrent files in deluge should something happen to my .config/deluge/ dirs. rsync is your friend
