Hi all,
I have set up a Deluge Thin Client on a raspberry pi, then connecting to the daemon from a Window 10 machine.
I have setup the proxy settings to use a SOCKS5 w/Auth configuration.
I'm testing to ensure that the proxy is being used with https://ipleak.net/, however it's always returning my public IP address. I am expecting it to return the proxy IP address.
I have tried choosing different options for the proxy server, and the torrent continues to transmit data, which tells me that Deluge is not taking into account the proxy settings at all.
Has anyone else run into this before?

Re: Deluge Thin Client - Proxy not being used
The testing method and URL you are using is not suitable. You need to load a special torrent instead. Follow instructions here:

gderf, thank you. I have followed the instructions and unfortunately, I am still getting my public IP address.
Any ideas? Any configurations that would be handy to review?

Re: Deluge Thin Client - Proxy not being used
I found the issue. The daemon was version 1.3.13, while the thin client was 1.3.15.
In version 1.3.14, a proxy issue introduced and resolved in 1.3.15.
Downgrading the thin client to 1.3.13, and the testing method returned the VPN IP address.
