Deluge stops when certain Cache reached

Hello,

I used to have Deluge 1.3.15 on Win7x64 with 327680 (16 KiB blocks) Cache and 800 seconds expiry. That is about 5.3 GB. It worked fine.
Now with Deluge 2.0b1 and Win10x64 all downloads stop when it reaches ~180000, around 2.9 GB.
16 GB RAM, 480 GB SSD just for Deluge (down/up), no pagefile.

Setting it to 512 Cache ( around 8 MB) and 60 seconds seems to work, although sometimes speeds seem to go up and down and I think this might be because of the cache.

Primarily used for download. I understand for this setup a small/medium Cache size and short expiry would be best, but what exactly is small/medium and short expiry?

What are your chache settings then, for users who primarily download?
