DHT goes to zero when changing Preferences:Network:Interface

I connect through a VPN so every time I start Deluge I go into Preferences:Network:Interface and set it to the IP of my current VPN connection. This works great and no complaints there, but I've noticed that my DHT connections don't restart when I change my network interface. The work-around is that I have to disable encryption (Network:Encryption) and restart Deluge. Once I get a good batch of DHT I can re-enable encryption and I still get fresh DHT connections.

Client: 1.3.15
libtorrent: 1.0.11.0
Test Active Port: [Green Dot]

Any thoughts on simpler ways for me to move from VPN IP to VPN IP without having to decrypt, restart, encrypt every time?
