Permission problems on Synology DSM 6

Post by houmie »

Hello,

I have Deluge 1.3.15-9 from the community packages installed on a Synology 718+.

Everything works and I can download torrents. But once it finishes Deluge can't move the file from incomplete folder to the complete folder.
Neither can it automatically read and auto-add from the watch folder.

I have already given the sc-deluge internal user full access to the shared folder. I don't know what else I have to do.
May you please advise?

Thank you,
shamael

So the user running Deluge has full access on the share but what about the ACL on the file inside the share?
What type of share?

You can have full access to a share but different permission on the files inside the share so this is a first way to investigate
Enabling the log on Deluge side (see support section) may help confirm the root cause

Hello Houmie

Did you succeed to set the proper access right to your shared folder to be able to transfert any file once fully downloaded by Deluge ?
I have the exact same issue than yours on my Synology NAS.

Thanks
