Adding torrent from Ubuntu Deluge-console to Windows Deluge client

Postby MutatedHero » Sat Apr 07, 2018 5:18 pm

Greetings,

I've previously run this setup on older version but after I reinstalled Ubuntu I cannot get it to work correctly.

Deluge 1.3.15 thin client runs on Windows 10.
Deluge-console 1.3.15 is installed on Ubuntu 16.04.4 LTS and the files are by default installed in "/usr/bin/".

Using AutoDL-IRSSI I catch the torrent and then use the following command to send it to the thin client. I've excluded the connect username/password part:

Code: Select all

add -p "M:/Test" /tmp/nLEVe50B0U

The torrent is added in Deluge on my Windows client but the download path is incorrect. Very briefly I can see the following status in details tab:

Code: Select all

The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect: C:\Program Files (x86)\Deluge\/home/dl/M:/Test\testfile-test\Sample\sample-testfile-test.mkv

It it then clears and the path in details tab changes to the following:

Code: Select all

/home/dl/M:/Test

Anyone know what's causing this? Why would the Ubuntu home folder be added automatically?

Thanks in advance.

A short update, I got it to work using the old Deluge-console 1.3.12 that's in the official Ubuntu repository.
Anyone else seen the same in 1.3.15?
