Random hash check failures

Hello,
I have a big 500gb torrent with about 1700 files that was fully downloaded to 100%. Every time I try to do a full "Force Re-check", it ends up around 99% with anywhere from 2 - 6 different files below 100%.
I've tried to rehash 3 times now. Each time I do it, a different set of files is reported as under 100%. Something must be very wrong with the hashing routine for it to keep failing in this way.
Does anyone else experience problems like this?
I'm using deluged 1.3.15 on FreeBSD 11.1. The filesystem is zfs.
