How to edit deluge daemon preferences?

Hello Deluge forums!

I have my Deluge setup in thin-client mode, where deluge daemon is running on a raspberry pi 3 (ubuntu mate 16.04 installed) and I use Deluge GUI to connect to the daemon from a windows 7 machine. I read somewhere that changing the preferences on the GUI doesn't actually change the settings on the deluge daemon, only the daemon where the GUI is running, so that would be my Windows 7 machine where I'm not actually torrenting.

Is this true? If so, how do I change options on the deluge daemon graphically without having to edit config files manually?

What? No if you connect to daemon the settings are changed.

Yeah, as long as you are connected to your Pi, then the Pi settings are what are being changed. GUI settings will be specific to the GUI you are using though.
