how to exclude torrent by name from add to queue

Post by mazzo »

hi

i have activated the option of "auto add" from a specific directory

so when i download a torrent file, to the destination folder, it will be auto added to deluge to start download

i want a filter or something to exclude starting download some torrent files depend on their names

or ignore .torrent files (depend on a keyword in their names) from auto add to deluge

this can be possible ?

download the .torrent files to my destination folder is not done by my hands ! , so i want something to control which torrents to be downloaded

thanks in advance :)

Looking through the autoadd plugin I see there is a setting for add in paused state. If it were me I would probably give a try of adding 2 folders and setting one to add started and the second to add paused.

seems like you misunderstand what i mean

i want deluge to skip torrents from auto add folder

skipping torrents is depending on a keyword in the .torrent name

for example if the .torrent file name is ( kongfu.panda-hell.torrent )

and i don;t want to add any torrents which their names have the word "hell" , so this torrent file won't be added to deluge and deluge will skip it

That is not the purpose of the Autoadd plugin, you need to apply those exclusions in the program you are using to populate the autoadd directories, as per Shryp's suggestion.

thnx a lot for reply

but i don't use the autoadd plugin, i just use the auto add option in the "download" tab in preferences !

will i be in need of a plugin to enforce deluge to skip downloading torrent which has the prohibited word

is this possible ?

How are your torrents downloaded at the moment? That really is what you need to alter, before Deluge.

the .torrent files got automatically downloaded through an RSS reader tool, but this tool has not option to filter

that's why i need the process to be done through deluge

No because it does not make sense. Your RSS tool needs to do this, I'm not sure about yarss2 but certainly flexget can exclude torrents from being added.

YaRSS2 can be set to add some as started and some as paused. And you don't need to have a watched folder for it to work.
