for over 2 years I never had to reboot or restart deluged on my OVH seedbox's,
I made the mistake of doing updates last week Ubuntu 12.04 LTS - 14.04 LTS
since updating Deluge to 1.3.11 after a few days it just stops seeding / downloading
I am unsure how to find where the problem is
I do have an 80 meg log file that I just moved to wait for the next time it happens
Either rebooting or restarting deluged gets it working again, I feel it might be IO related as CPU usage is barely used but something is making the system really unresponsive and only Deluged and private FTP/VPN service's are running
deluge: 1.3.11
libtorrent: 0.16.17.0
Python 2.7.6
Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
3.13.0-36-generic
Btrfs
*edit*
1517 be/4 root 22.87 K/s 0.00 B/s 0.00 % 1.29 % daemon.log -L info [deluged]
before "info" logging was constant 12-20 mbs with out any data change happening
I changed its nice value to 10 and iotop no longer shows deluged using 100% and global io's are only around 5%
unsure if its from the nice value change or because that the 50 gig torrent I was downloading finished
how ever I have downloaded 200 gig torrents before with out issue and normally have over 500 torrents seeding @ 1gbs ...
HDD SMART came back clean but I did find 36 bad-blocks towards the last sectors, no idea how I will manage to mark them via ssh because file system needs to be mounted , its not like I can physically boot of an rescue disk :S
deluged 1.3.11 problems after a few days running
