Unable to download with magnet links.

I am running 1.3.6, and it works for standard torrents, but not with ones that start off as magnet links. It gets added to the list, but the torrent files, and peers never get filled in. I do see an error in the Tracker Status field, but it just says "Error: ", and nothing shows up in the debug logs under info level. Also I do not know if it matters, but I am using a proxy to connect to all the types. Does anyone have any ideas?

So I have read some more, and think it has to do with me having DHT and Peer Exchange disabled, as I download from private trackers I was told to have it disabled. Could this be the problem? Is it possible to have these features turned on selectively for certain trackers, and not for others?

Magnet links need a peer to retrieve full torrent info so if the tracker is not working that will happen. DHT and PEX are not enabled for private trackers.
