# uname -a
Linux aio 3.5.0-18-generic #29-Ubuntu SMP Fri Oct 19 10:26:51 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
(using .../deluge_1.3.5-1ubuntu4_all.deb)
I am having problems choosing save location as it keeps defaulting back to my home folder
( even as root I thought it might have been an ownership issue )
home folder
desktop
thumb drive
documents
music
pictures
video's
downloads
ubuntu one
are the only options that stick
and I need to use other so I can direct it to my NAS
I also tried symlinking my NAS folder to one of these options but it will only use the root folder
and I need to go a few levels deeper
I normally use FreeBSD and its worked flawless just having this one issue with ubuntu :S
is their a file to tinker with to hard code my save path ??

Re: Ubuntu Save location not working
Thanks
I guess the simple thing would be to downgrade GTK
their seems to be to many differences between the snippet of the patch being shown then what my current addtorrentdialog.py has
git checkout master last night
1.3.900-dev
for now my quick solution was to just symlink the folder I wanted to download to as the Music folder deluge was happily showing for me
