Installing Deluge on DamnSmallLinux

Since i couldnt get the windows one workin, i thought tat it would be good giv this a shot. I have DSL running on my Windows XP with VMware. The problem now is that i dont even know how to access my hard disk! I dl-ed Deluge for Linux with firefox'd dl manager. All files should go to the desktop but i dont see the downloaded file. And if i click Open from the dl manager, nothing happens. Do i have to like, install python and stuffs first? And how do i access my hard disk or a mycomputer thing Thanks again~
