deluge 1.3.1 (windows) connecting to russian mail server?

Post by wt123654 »

So, I got a message from Avast warning me that my "mail client", deluge.exe, was connecting to a POP server at 88.81.52.6 using SSL. The warning was because Avast isn't able to scan mail going through an encrypted connection.

What is going on?

It's most likely that someone in russia was running their bittorrent client on a port which is normally used for POP and hence why it confused your anti-virus.
