Remote web access

Post by eager »

Hi --

I've installed Deluge on a Fedora 14 virtual machine, running deluged and deluge-web. The F14 system is behind a NAT router, so it has a local area network IP address which is different from the public IP address.

I can open a browser on the F14 system and connect to deluge (http://localhost:8112) without problem.

When I try to connect from a different machine on the same local network I get no response. The instructions on the ThinClient wiki page are very simple: just open a browser to http://<ip>:8112, where <ip> is the local network IP address of the system running deluge-web.

I've tried setting preferences using the web GUI on the F14 machine to allow remote connections and to add a connection using the Connection Manager, but neither appears to make a difference. I don't see any messages in the deluged debug log.

Is there some step I've missed?
