deluge 1.3.1 segmentation fault adding torrents

Post by ledzgio »

Hi all,

today i've started deluge and it crashed with a segmentation fault error. After several tries, i've found that it crashes when i add a torrent. It's really strange and i cannot find out which is the problem here. Also starting with -L debug option, i cannot see any error except for the segmentation fault message.

I don't know if it could be important, but the problem came out after system upgrade (from kernel 2.6.32-5-686 to 2.6.37-1-686).

Anyone with the same issue? any ideas?

i'm using crunchbang with debian squeeze repositories.

Thanks.

Thanks cas, that's really annoying...is there some workaround while waiting for the bug to be fixed?

This appears to be a pygtk and libcairo issue so apologies that its not something that can be fixed in Deluge. The only workaround is to downgrade libcairo or build without qt4 support.
