Unable to add third party plugins

I tried to add "Total Traffic" and "Stats" plugins to my Deluge 1.3.0 , but the so not show up in the list to enable them.

I installed using the GUI interface as well as I tried copying manually the files to ~/.config/deluge/plugins directory. I still cannot see the plugins in the list on deluge.

Can someone help me troubleshoot this?

I am on Fedora 14, Deluge 1.3.0, Python 2.7

It could be because you are running python2.7, a lot of plugins are build for 2.6

I have not used python a lot so I am not sure of this.
Would it work if I built the plugins from the source on my machine ?

I've recompiled and egg file under python 2.7 on Fedora 14 and the plugin loads... BUT it does not work. The pieces tab appears but has NOTHING in it. So... I am perplexed... and wonder, how can you have a supposedly linux distribution of a software that is nowhere near ready for AGES for the latest version of linux... whatever, thinking of giving up on Deluge cause you can not do much without plugins, and I am even testing out Vuze

I will check here in case if anybody finds a solution... but frankly...

I have no idea where your remarks about Deluge not being ready comes from, myself and many other use Deluge on a daily basis without issue with hundreds and even thousands of torrents.

The piece tab is a not written by the deluge team and if you bothered to search and read the authors thread in the plugin forum you will see other people having issues with it. Just because one plugin does not work, that does not equal that the every plugin and parent program is crap.
