1.2.3 (Linux Mint) doesn't quit

Post by clarknova »

Deluge 1.2.3 on Linux Mint 9 x68_64 (Ubuntu 10.04-based)
Core Version 1.2.3 on Ubuntu server 9.10 x86_64
libtorrent version 0.14.10.0

On the client machine, when I go File>Quit Deluge disconnects from the server (all torrent info disappears from within window) and then becomes unresponsive; none of the menus or window controls respond. If I click the close 'X' button the window manager eventually pops up with the option to kill the program.

There is one workaround that is 100% reliable, which is to click on any item in the left window pane of the client before closing. For example, if I click any one or combination of 'All', 'Seeding', 'tracker.com', etc, then try File>Quit, the program quits as expected.

I'm using the version from the Ubuntu PPA on client and server. I used the same version in 9.10 on the client and did not see this issue; it appeared only after moving to Linux Mint 9 on the client. I don't know if the version of libtorrent changed at that time.

Works now. I think a minor update came from the PPA, although it's still 1.2.3.
