Hi
I Know I'm not supplying much info, this is the best I can for the moment unless someone can tell me how to get more
Once a day or so, deluge is just crashing. It just stops and disappears from the screen. No messages, no warning, nothing. I have no idea why or even when this will happen. sometime it will run for a day or so, other times just a few hours.
I'm currently running 5.3 under PclinuxOS 2007 and I can't upgrade to 5.4 because I can't find one of the dependencies needed. I have a 1.9g AMD with 1gig of memory. I'm using the savage pro video card built into the mother board.

Re: Deluge crashes No messages
ask the pclinuxos people how to get the dependencies you need to upgrade and then load deluge from the command prompt. odds are it'll then spit out an error when it crashesmarcus wrote:Hi

Re: Deluge crashes No messages
I've posted stuff with them already.
What's the command I need to start deluge form the command line?

Re: Deluge crashes No messages
move ~/.config/deluge out of the way and see if that worksmarcus wrote:no existing Deluge session

Re: Deluge crashes No messages
I've noticed that there are two other open tickets with no resolution. One of them, the guy cleared the config and reinstalled and still had the same thing
Re: Deluge crashes No messages
I've just noticed something and I think that this may be part of the problem
I've set-up my client to same the torrents in ./Torrents , but I keep getting a second directory of the same name ie (./Torrents) being created. The second one remains empty.
When I started again without the ./config files, I noticed it had picked up the second of these directories so I deleted it. Then shut down deluge (I know I forgot it was running). This casued deluge to crash with a "Segmentation error"
For a test I have deleted the config files and then renamed my download file

Re: Deluge crashes No messages
Well its been 24 hours and I haven't had a crash
I did the following thing so I don't know which one worked
1) Deleted the config files and readded all the torrents
2) renamed the download folder from torrent/ to incomplete/
3) stopped using the option to save completed files in another directory
Don't know which worked, but fingers crossed they appear to be working
