"Force seed" option instead of "Queue"

Post by fuga »

I see no such option. It is either Resume or Pause. One tracker I am on requires users to seed "all the time". When a Deluge seed is Queued the tracker doesn't see it as seeding. In clients where it is ForceSeeded the tracker does see it.

Please tell me I am totally missing something.

You can force start by disabling the auto managed option. Doing so still counts towards total active though so it is not like a true forced start. See this for more:

You are going to have to play with your queue settings until you find out what you want. I use -1 for total active and max seeding and 5 for max downloading. A value of -1 on those settings disables it.

Great info. I'd have sworn I'd read all docs. And maybe I did but was simply blind to what I was reading. Whatever. I'm old enough to not give a flying fig as long as I get what I want.

I very much appreciate your taking the time to help me out.
