custom config directory in OSX

Post by fonografist »

So, I found out you can manually set the directory with all the config files for Deluge by adding the -c argument when running the program. It's been discussed here viewtopic.php?t=43397 for example, and is also touched on the FAQ: https://dev.deluge-torrent.org/wiki/Faq ... ingsconfig .

However, I can't seem to figure out how to do this with the regular .app in OSX on a mac (I did mange to get it to work in windows). How do you run a OSX app with arguments?

Yeah, I figured it out now, thanks. The problem I had was trying to put the config folder onto an exFat disk, that doesn't seem to work.
