Deluge move storage problem.

Hello,
Has anyone encountered an issue moving storage in Deluge or otherwise resuming torrents? When I moved recently downloaded torrents off my main drive to an external drive, none of the torrents would resume seeding/downloading (even after I tried to move them back!). Instead, they reset to 0.0% and began downloading all over again192.168.o.1
I am running the most recent version of deluge and Ubuntu 18.04. Happy to provide any other details that might be helpful.
