Just so you know as of now the gtk3/gui isn't working again, and it happen after when i installed the latest version. At first with last version, i had it but it was fixed with installing YACReader (which has the latest version of gtk) and rebooting my pc, but that fix isn't working now. So Deluge's gui isn't working for me again

Hi petersasi!

Thank you for continuing this build and creating a new thread 8-)

I just installed your most recent version from 18th september and noticed some missing icons.
Usually I remove the "data\etc\gtk-3.0\settings.ini", use one placed inside "%userprofile%\AppData\Local\gtk-3.0" and add the the theme I'm using to the "data\share\themes" folder.

Anyway, it looks like I forgot something because some icons didn't show. After some trial and error I found that the installer was missing icons in "data\share\icons\Adwaita". Those are the ones missing:

Code: Select all

Quit:
  icon name: application-exit-symbolic
  icon file: \Adwaita\16x16\actions\application-exit-symbolic.symbolic.png
Create Torrent:
  document-new-symbolic
  \actions\document-new-symbolic.symbolic.png
Queue
  \status\media-playlist-shuffle-symbolic
Top
  \actions\go-top-symbolic
Bottom
  \actions\go-bottom-symbolic
Update Tracker
  \actions\view-refresh-symbolic
Edit Trackers
  \actions\document-edit-symbolic
Force Re-check
  \actions\edit-redo-symbolic
Move Download Folder
  \actions\document-save-as-symbolic
Upload Slot Limit
  \actions\view-sort-descending-symbolic
About
  \actions\help-about-symbolic

Edit: So far I had no issues with libtorrent 1.2.10 even through VPN.

Thanks for reporting I will look into it - still firming up a more robust file cleanup as visible from the increased (regressed) installer size!

Does there come anything up if opening a cmd-prompt(Win+R > cmd > Return) and running: (you don't need having deluge2 installed for this test, or any deluge for that matter)

Code: Select all

set | findstr /i python

Some few apps set such env-vars which wil break this deluge2 installer currently(PYTHONHOME/PYTHONPATH), but I posted a method to fix it, to petersasi previously in my old thread, which i'm sure he'll get to when having time later on(and I can help you with in mean time, if that's the issue).

If not the above(i.e. if anything doesn't come up with above test), then sorry, I don't know either unfortunetly. I tested his installer quickly in a clean win10 VM, which works fine there.

Saw that however too soon, a few hours after 1.1.1h released no prebuilt installers were yet available, will check again tomorrow!

I tried installing the new version with lt 1.2.10. Luckily I made a backup of both Deluge install folder, and AppData folder. Because after upgrading, the client only sees about half of my saved torrents. I don’t know why, the problem isn’t in the AppData folder, because running the old deluge.exe recognizes all the files again. Is there something in the old folder I should move to the new version? What could possibly be happening?

Well, I am puzzled, never encountered the same... Can you try not the latest but maybe the latest-but-version to see where is the point it goes wrong?
