i reinstalled my pc and installed an xp too for playing older games that wont run on w7/8
now i installed deluge and getting this error after installing it
just wondering what i did wrong or isnnt deluge compatible with xp?
install path doesnt mater
and deinstalling reinstalling reboot etc dosent help either
its a fresh install of xp.. soo there cant be any viruses etc preventing me from useing deluge

Install all the windows xp updates from windows update, I think the problem is the lack of frameworks and stuff.

hmm update installed vc 2005 2010 2008 and . net4 but it still gives same error

it says something about the config isnt correct and has to be reinstalled.. but reinstalling doesnt help
but reinsstalling doesnt do a thing and i deleted the deluge folder in progs and in appdata after deinstall too

Did you install Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86): http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/de ... px?id=5582
Edit: You need to translate error messages precisely because there is a previous thread on this exact issue and it suggest installing .net3.5

Actually if you transfer all the updates from windows update you will have this error gone and deluge working properly, I experienced it myself.
Among all those updates you will get from windows update, microsoft c++ 2008 will be one of them, so if this is what your system is missing for deluge to work you can transfer it from there or manually as Cas showed.
