Can't add torrent with accented characters

Post by MasterDav »

Hi,

I've a weird and annoying problem with torrents file which has a " Ï " within their name.

When I double clic it on windows, it opens Deluge but nothing happens.
If I double clic it again, nothing happens in Deluge.
In both of those case, nothing -apart normal verbose- appears in the debug log.
If I use "add a torrent" within Deluge, it works.
And finally, if I delete the " Ï " from the torrent file, everything works fine in all cases.

My configuration is deluged running on an Ubuntu 12.04 Server, and deluge running on my Win7x64, both connected through openvpn.
I thought about a charset issue but server locale is well set as fr_UTF8, such as my browsers (tried FF and Chrome). Of course, charset can't be fixed in Windows.
I searched for configuration file where i could set a charset for deluge but no luck.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem, this happens on double-click on any torrent with any special characters.

Deluge is started or brought to foreground if already running, but no "add torrent"-dialog appears. But adding the file manually from within Deluge works!

Deluge 1.3.5 on Win7x64, and system Locale for non-Unicode is the default of English (United States).
