Web interface to IRC

Hi all,
It would be nice to have some kind of web interface to IRC as I have been having some issues with getting pidgin to run as well as few other things. Look at http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=2815077 . Now this results also in perfect opportunity to take the point not many people know about IRC so it would be easy/nice to pull those people in also. Lemme know what you guys think
