cannot connect to seeders....

I have a torrent that is around 136GB with lots of file. I am using selective downloads as I do not have enough space for all the files. Anyway, my problem is, I can see there are 40 seeders but I cannot connect to any of them. The torrent is running on DHT only. I can see a lot of peers stuck at 62%. So I am pretty sure the rest are unable to connect to the 40 seeders as well.
Is there any way to find out what is causing this? Are the 40 peers "fake"? Is this the limitation of DHT?
