Re: gtk client errors
GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_set_qdata: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed This will most likely be an issue in gtk, not a lot we can do about it. You could report the issue to Gnome bug tracker but would require backtraces to properly diagnose. There is no backtrace, deluge is not termi...

Re: gtk client errors
this problem is not fixed in 1.3.4 (from PPA) - it is still spewing (deluge:4516): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_set_qdata: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed messages at a rate of more than one message a second. Works fine though. Also there is a mssing semicolon in deluge.desktop plasma-...

Re: FAQ needs updating
My deluge is indeed set up to start torrents automatically, but added torrent is not showing in the torrent list, I presume it means that it was actually not added. It will be added if I click on the same magnet link the second time after GtkUI has started and connected to the daemon.

Re: FAQ needs updating
Yes, it displays '1 torrent queued' thereCas wrote:If the client is not connected it will be added to a 'Torrent Queue', which is displayed in the bottom left of the status bar
but this doesn't happen.and upon connecting to daemon it should popup and prompt how you wish to handle the queued torrents.

Re: FAQ needs updating
...and that was because I didn't confirm my email address. Ok, I've updated the FAQ. BTW deluge (1.3.3 linux, client-server mode) handles magnet links properly only if the GtkUI has already been started, otherwise UI starts, prompt for the server to connect, but torrent is not added to the download ...

Re: FAQ needs updating
Excuse me my ignorance, but how? I am logged into dev.deluge-torrent.org but cannot find a way to start editing even in the sandbox. When I am logged in every wiki page has a "Warning: <acct_mgr.web_ui.MessageWrapper object at 0x16d539cc>" message about where one should expect to find edit...

FAQ needs updating
Article about setting magnet handler in Firefox on linux without gnome (http://dev.deluge-torrent.org/wiki/Faq# ... handlethem) is outdated, latest Firefox versions require a different approach: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Register_prot ... _and_above

Re: feature request: manage download queue by bandwidth
'Ignore slow torrents' excludes only the torrents with 0 dl speed, it is better than nothing but not enough.
I don't like libtorrent. I mean, guys so much obsessed with sparse files cannot be very smart... and deluge still lacks proper preallocation mode and fragments files as hell.

feature request: manage download queue by bandwidth
Currently the only way deluge can manage which torrents are being downloaded and which remain queued is by the quantity of [active] downloading torrents but this is not a very good criteria - one torrent with a strong seed base can max all available bandwidth while ten weak torrents may not be able ...

webui password window does not have focus in mozilla
When webui is opened in Firefox 7 or Seamonkey 2.1 password window does not have input focus - I have to click on it with a mouse before entering password, in Opera however it does. I wonder if I am missing an option or something. 1.3.3, ubuntu 11.10
