Damn, I was thinking this option was implemented. Are you sure all the Deluge process are closed prior editing the files?
It this confirmed with a "ps"?
On the 1.3.x version this is the only issue I've found.
What about the sed line you used, may you expose it? (remove any personal key)

Re: Can't enable logging when starting Deluge Daemon
Hi,
Seems fine except the "logrotate" I never used. May you try to remove it?
have your tried as root ("sudo bash" if needed)?
Please post your complete unit and daemon version too, may be useful

To have the connection manager available, you need to disable the classic mode in the preferences of the client, launch it again and it will appear. The daemon need to be configured for remote...

Re: User name does not exist
So it's well an impersonate issue it's seems no? You're well able to call the console with "sudo -u debian-deluged deluge-console", so it all depends about who start your script. Often only root can impersonate another user so if the script run as user X and the /etc/sudoers is not adapted...

Re: Can I transfer completed downloads to a new Deluge installation?
Yes you can. Simply copy the profile (.config/deluge) of Deluge daemon to the new location, keep the same paths, and take care about the ACL The profile is located in the home folder of the user running the daemon The password of the Web interface is by default "deluge". This is not linked...
